My Client Design Process

What makes my process special?

Each new project follows my detailed design process that not only makes this an enjoyable experience for you, but also allows me to deliver custom illustrations that impress!

Let's Get Aquainted

First, fill out my Quote Request form. Within minutes you will receive a detailed questionnaire that will allow you to tell me all about your goals and vision for this project. The best part? Your quote is FREE! Once your questionnaire is reviewed, I will create a simple proposal of my pricing for your project. You should receive this within 24 - 48 business hours.

Review your package

Once we come to an agreement, you will receive a formal design contract with project scheduling outlined. Once I have your stamp of approval, a deposit on the project is made, and we can get started.

Let's get coffee

We will have an in-person or virtual meeting where we will discuss your project in detail. This of course will depend on your project:

We will look over paper samples, review a mood board I have created based on the answers to your questionnaire, and discuss the art direction for your project.

If not already determined, we will define brand goals, target audience, analyze competitors, review a mood board I have created based on the answers to your questionnaire, and discuss the art direction for your project.

Review Your Design Sketches

After you approve the design notes from our initial meeting, design sketches are created and sent for your review. You will have the opportunity to review these proofs and provide feedback for revisions. Each project is unique and granted a set number of concepts and revisions outlined in the proposal.

Digitizing and the finish line

After design sketch approval, I take great care to digitize your illustration. Your final design is presented to you via online presentation that shows my design process from conception to completion and provided to you as shown below. All the decisions made are explained to ensure your illustration achieves the goals we discussed in our initial meeting and approved design notes.

Once final designs are completed, invitations are sent to the printer, assembled, and delivered!

Logo Illustration

Once final designs are digitized, you receive a logo package with png, jpg, eps, and ai files. You also receive a simple brand standards guide. This helpful document guides you to make the most of your brand new logo.
